Clinical Psychologist

Andrea Israel, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with experience working across diverse clinical, academic, and federal settings, including university medical centers, community hospitals, private practice, and military installations. Dr. Israel currently serves as an independent contractor and subject matter expert on military youth and families with Kennedy Krieger Institute and Georgetown University, and also as an affiliated faculty member of the Department of Medical & Clinical Psychology at Uniformed Services University. She also serves as the Screening & Selection Program Manager at Thinkblot Behavioral Sciences, overseeing the psychological screening and selection of public safety candidates, ensuring assessment quality, adherence to best-practice standards, and the effective evaluation of applicants for high-trust roles such as law enforcement and corrections. Dr. Israel has received multiple honors for her leadership and innovation, including a Presidential Citation from the American Psychological Association (2022).
